Castle Peak Forest Half Marathon, 12k & 6k Trail Run

Castle Peak Forest Half Marathon, 12k & 6k Trail Run

Castle Peak Forest is a privately owned forest, located just 30 minutes from Napier.

This is trail running at its very best! Choose from a half marathon, a 13km or dip your toes in with the 6km. Walkers are welcome in the 13km and 6km events.

Castle Peak Forest is our new favourite forestry venue. All distances will enjoy the beautiful forestry trails, with the half marathon having an added bonus of the most stunning views out across Hawke’s Bay.

Please note that Castle Peak Forest is a privately owned forest that is not accessible by the public. Please do not attempt to visit the forest prior to the event.

Distances are subject to change +- 15%.

This run is event four of six in the Hawke’s Bay Trail Running Series. You can enter one or enter them all.

Each event offers three distances to suit all abilities:
- Short: 5 - 9 km (runners and fast walkers)
- Medium: 11 - 15 km (runners and fast walkers)
- Long: 1/2 marathon (runners only)

Please visit our website for further details (and important event information).

Entries are online only and close on the Friday before each race, with a late fee payable in the last week. Sorry, there are strictly no on the day entries.
