AirportPapa Rererangi

Wairoa Airport is situated at the end of Airport Road on the northern edge of the Wairoa township. Featuring a 914m sealed runway with PAL lighting, the facility is used on a daily basis by emergency services, helicopters and small planes. The airport also hosts the Wairoa Aero Club.

JET A1 fuel is available on-site.

88FM Radio Te Wairoa studio is situated in a top of the range studio in the Aero Club Building.

88FM Radio Te Wairoa is also Music On Parade (Music on Marine Parade) and is now online as Rocket Radio Te Wairoa.
