The Wairoa District Council dog registration period begins on July 1 and if you register your dog before August 31, you can take advantage of discounted pricing.
Registering your dog with your local Council is a requirement in New Zealand and is part of being a responsible dog owner.

Rating differentials adjusted Following submission hearings and deliberations, Wairoa’s elected members have adjusted the rating differentials to reflect, as closely as practicable, the principles and distribution of last year’s rating review.
The new differentials take into account last year’s Quotable Value property revaluation, which saw many properties significantly increase in value. These differentials are also reflective of the relative contributions to the social, economic, environmental and cultural wellbeing of the community.

Wairoa will be front and centre at the three-day Wellington event with Council’s Group Manager of Information and Customer Experience, Dr Kimberley Tuapawa, presenting on Wairoa District Council’s digital technology focus.
ALGIM represents national and international interests in information technology, web and digital, information and records management, customer experience, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) within Councils across the country.
