Napier City Business Inc, Napier City Council, and Napier Port invite you to join us at Innovate Napier, our ongoing successful breakfast series to motivate and energise you for your future in business.
We have a slight twist for our second breakfast of the year, as the audience will first be wowed by world-class opera from Flaxmere local Emmanuel Fonoti-Fuimaono and then taken on a journey by former Prime Minister Bill English as he shows how business and the arts have always been interlinked for their mutual benefit.
A graduate of the nationally recognised local free singing programme Project Prima Volta, Emmanuel has secured a prestigious position in one of the world's leading opera companies, The Royal Opera in London’s Covent Garden, and will soon be headed off for international stardom. This will be a rare opportunity to hear him.
Rt Hon Bill English, the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, is now an expert in social capital. English served as the Prime Minister from 2016 to 2017 and has held various significant positions in the government, including Minister of Finance. His insights and experience make him one of New Zealand’s most respected leaders.
In this inspirational celebration of Hawke's Bay's talented youth, you’ll hear Emmanuel's story and discover how businesses and communities can benefit from support for the arts.
This event is a unique collaboration between business and the arts, with PriceWaterhouseCooper (PWC) and Sainsbury's Logan & Williams joining our regular sponsors to support Project Prima Volta in bringing off this morning spectacular.
