The newly elected Wairoa District Council was officially sworn in at a ceremony held this week.
Mayor Craig Little and elected members read and signed their declarations in front of a crowd of around 70 people at the War Memorial Hall.
The ceremony was followed by the new Council’s inaugural meeting.
