Grab a Selfie with Elfie

2021 12 17a

A Selfie with Elfie could pay off for young Wairoa shoppers.

Astute shoppers aged between 0-16 years will need to keep their eyes wide open in the hunt for the magical Elfie (pictured) who is expected to pop-up all-over town on Saturday morning (December 18).

In the true Christmas spirit Elfie will hide in local businesses, and if you are one of the people who are lucky enough to spot him you should quickly grab a selfie with the elusive elf and tag Wairoa District Council on Facebook.

Winners will be randomly selected with each participating business giving away a $50 voucher.

The spirited sprite will only stay at participating businesses for around half an hour, so Elf spotters need to be quick.

Participating businesses are Oslers Bakery, Eastland Building and Farm Supplies, The Wairoa Star, Local Living, Wairoa Appliance Centre, Ecko, Books on Parade, Arigato Mum’s Sushi, Bloom ‘n Loco, Hammer Hardware and the Ponderosa.

The Selfie with Elfie campaign is part of a Wairoa District Council Tautoko Wairoa promotion to encourage shoppers to buy local and support our Wairoa businesses.

Get spotting Wairoa.
