Two free workshops, designed to support both new and existing businesses, are being offered through the Wairoa District Council.

The workshops will be delivered by Hawke’s Bay business coach Michaela Vodanovich and provide an opportunity for local businesspeople to hear from a business expert on how to refine their strategy, strengthen their operations, and set their business up for success.

The first workshop will take place on Thursday, 15 May 2025, and focus on business planning and gaining clarity and direction for your business through:

• Reflecting on your current position
• Defining your business vision
• Developing strategy and setting goals
• Creating an actionable plan for growth

The workshop will be held from 3pm to 6pm in the Conference Room at the Wairoa Community Centre.

The second workshop, Keys to Success in Business, will focus on how to discover practical tools and insights to thrive in today’s market and will include:

• The six key steps to business success
• Identifying your target market
• Embracing customer-centric approaches
• Crafting a strong customer value proposition
• Building successful business habits
• Leveraging digital tools for growth

Those who participate in the first workshop will be invited to attend a second workshop, scheduled for Thursday, 12 June 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in the Conference Room at the Wairoa Community Centre.
