Wairoa District Council Office Closed

Office Closure
Kia ora.
Wairoa District Council staff and Elected Members are deeply saddened by the passing of fellow colleague Rubyanne Edwards.
Rubyanne was a well-loved member of our team – who managed the Wairoa isite, the Gaiety Theatre, tourism, our customer services team and had a close relationship with all our staff across Council.
She made a considerable contribution to various community initiatives and projects in her roles and will be sorely missed by our team.
We offer our sincerest condolences to her partner Quintin, her children and mokopuna, friends and family at this sad time.
In light of Rubyanne’s passing, all Wairoa District Council offices will close tomorrow (Friday 2 August) for bereavement. Offices include the main office in Queen Street, the Wairoa isite, the Wairoa Library and the Gaiety Theatre. The Gaiety Theatre will also be closed Sunday, 4 August.
If you would like to contact us, you can call 06 838 7309: our after-hours team will be on standby to take your calls and queries. Alternatively, you can fill out a Customer Service Request form here: https://www.wairoadc.govt.nz/.../customer-service-request/
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
