Local businesses painted the town green for last week’s Wairoa-hosted Ross Shield tournament.
Supporters went all out with flags flying from the bridge and businesses dressing up their shopfronts and creating window displays in support of the tournament.
The winners of the Wairoa District Council organised Ross Shield Window Display Competition were Te Whare Maire o Tapuwae, with a morning tea shout and three months of free radio advertising as their prize.
