Got craft supplies sitting there judging you? Cool, same. This is your chance to clear them out and swap them for something you’ll actually use.
NOTE: This is a two-day craft supply swap event designed to make creative decluttering easy, and to scratch that craft-supply-shopping-itch.
---
How the event works:
> DAY 1 - DROP OFF DAY: 14 March 2026, 11am-2pm
Bring in your unused or unwanted craft supplies. They will be checked in against your registration and you will be given a receipt (this is required to collect your tokens)
Items will be taken away to be sorted, categorised, and assigned tokens based on what you contribute.
> DAY 2 - SWAP DAY: 21 March 2026, 11am-3pm
Return with your receipt, swap it for tokens and use them to "shop" the swap tables, trading tokens for new-to-you craft supplies.
Items may be bundled and will be given token ‘price tags’ for ease of swapping.
---
What can be swapped?
Most general craft supplies are welcome, including:
* Paper & stationery
* Yarn, fabric & sewing supplies
* Beads & jewellery-making supplies
* Scrapbooking & journalling materials
* Paints, tools, stamps, kits, and miscellaneous craft items
Please do not bring broken tools, dried-up materials, or unusable items.
A full Swapper’s Guide (including accepted items and token values) will be emailed to all ticket holders before the event.
---
The token system (quick overview)
* Tokens are earned based on the type and quality of items you drop off
* Tokens act as currency on swap day
* This system keeps things fair and prevents hoarding
Exact token values and examples are provided in the Swapper’s Guide.
---
Ticket information
Your ticket covers:
* Event organisation and staffing across both days
* Item sorting and token allocation
* Venue hire
* Access to the swap day (obviously)
This is not a free-for-all rummage. The ticket fee helps cover venue hire, staffing, and the logistics required to make the swap run smoothly and fairly.
---
Good to know
- This is an adult & young-adult focused event: You must be 16 and over to register. Items can be traded on behalf of young crafters by their guardians, and young crafters can attend with the person who registered and traded goods on their behalf.
- Tickets are limited to keep things manageable
- Attendance at drop-off day is required to participate in the swap
- Any leftover items will be stored for future events and will not be returned to individual contributors.
---
Declutter your stash. Shop guilt-free. Leave with fresh inspiration and new craft dopamine.
