Napier City Skate is a pop-up indoor roller disco in Napier’s CBD for one week only.
Expect music, lights, disco balls, sweet treats and plenty of skating fun for all ages. Whether you're introducing the kids to skating for the first time or reliving your own roller disco days, it's an affordable, weather-proof activity right in the heart of the city.
Morning and afternoon sessions run daily. 10am-12pm and 1-3pm.
Tickets start at just $5 per skater. Bring your own roller or inline skates, or add skate hire during booking for $5 per person. A family pass including entry and skate hire for four people is available for $30. Don't forget your socks!
Walk-ins are welcome, but booking ahead is recommended, especially if you require skate hire, as sizes are limited. Spectators are welcome. Children aged 12 and under must be supervised by a parent or caregiver. Please note, no skateboards, scooters or bikes permitted on the rink.
Skate hire is supplied by BaySkate and uses standard NZ shoe sizing (J10-J13 = junior sizes, 1-12 = youth/adult sizes). If you're unsure which size to book, feel free to visit BaySkate before the event for a try-on. We'll do our best to accommodate size changes on the day, subject to availability.
