An all-inclusive comedy night featuring stand-up, improv, and audience participation prizes! Featuring professional comics and performers from around NZ and up-and-coming stars. No two shows the same!
Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm, at The Cabana, New Zealand's oldest pure live music venue.
July's MC will be Callum Wagstaff. Callum is a standout on the Aotearoa comedy circuit, known for his offbeat charm, punchy writing, and relentless gigging across the North Island. Originally from Taranaki, Callum has picked up multiple accolades, including Best Comedian four years running at the Comedy Hub Awards and Best Out-of-Towner twice at the Wellington Comedy Awards. With a distinctive comedic voice that turns the bizarre into brilliant, he’s an act with serious momentum.
Headliner will be Advait Kirtikar, all the way from Wellington. "Hey it's me, Advait. If you’re reading this, then I know I’ve made it. And I don’t need to tell you that I’m a 2024 Billy T nominee who is known for being a “super dry” stand-up comedian “with killer timing” who's “punching up and going for the jugular”. (The Hook).
You already knew that I’m a “stand out” performer on the New Zealand comedy circuit and that my “uniquely beautiful comedy” (Art Murmurs) has taken me to the Raw National finals and sold-out shows across multiple NZ International Comedy and Fringe Festivals! So, tell me about you? Where do you see yourself in five years?"
