Join us for the Winter Deco Fair, the perfect prelude to Winter Deco Weekend, held three weeks before the main event.

Browse a mix of stallholders offering vintage fashion, accessories, beauty, collectibles and Deco treasures!

There will also be workshops and live demonstrations across the weekend, covering everything from hair and make-up to Deco dressing, styling on a budget and what makes Art Deco fashion so unique.

Please note: most vendors will be operating with cash-only payments.

Workshop Timings:
Saturday 27 June
11am to 11.45am – Hair and make-up styling with Kim
1pm to 1.45pm – Deco dressing on a budget with Lee-Anne

Sunday 28 June
11am to 11.45am – Hair and make-up styling with Kim
1pm to 1.45pm – Learn what makes Deco fashion unique with Jackie

Speaker Profiles
Kim Dawson – Peppers Hair and Beauty Boutique
Kim and Tyler from Peppers Hair and Beauty Boutique will showcase an Art Deco-inspired hair demonstration, featuring timeless waves, sleek finishes and a modern take on classic styling. It is a celebration of hair, creativity and the beautiful era that is Art Deco.

Lee-Anne Freeman
Lee-Anne has a wealth of practical knowledge when it comes to dressing Deco, from simple basics through to elaborate evening attire. She will share tips on building and styling your Deco wardrobe, including what to wear before 5pm and how to dress for an after-5pm cocktail event. There will also be a special guest appearance from Bertie, showcasing men’s attire.

Jackie Chapman
Ever wanted to learn more about Art Deco fashion? Jackie Chapman will explore what makes Deco-era fashion so unique, and how you can bring those ideas into your own wardrobe. Jackie has a Master’s in Professional Creative Practice from EIT, a postgraduate qualification in Museum Studies from Massey University, and a passion for fashion history that is infectious.
