Teach & Lead the Massive Way! Join Massive Theatre Company for a hands-on professional development workshop designed for teachers, theatre practitioners who teach, and creatives with a desire to develop their devising practice.

Led by Sam Scott, Massive’s Founder and Artistic Director, this workshop offers an opportunity to explore the company’s unique approach to making devised physical theatre. Learn through doing with processes you can use to make brave, bold, playful performance pieces with your students.

Massive’s Hawkes Bay Teachers Workshop Will:
Actively encourage play, movement, curiosity, and exploration
Provide you with a variety of Massive warm-ups, ways to build ensembles and introduce ideas to use within devising
Deepen your creative practice with scaffolded devising processes that build pieces of theatre

What to Expect:
A hands-on approach means you will be on your feet, learning through playing and exploring.
Practical, physical activities designed to leave you with tangible ideas you can take straight back to your classroom or creative space.
Detailed notes post-workshop and ongoing access to continue discussing your work beyond the workshop with Sam Scott.

Workshop Fee: $218.50 inc. GST (+ ticketing fees)
