Great things happen when women tri!
The Harcourts HB Women's Triathlon is created by and proudly supports the Heretaunga Women's Centre. This event is about celebrating goals, challenges, and the incredible support you find along the way. Whether you've never considered a triathlon before or you're ready to push your personal best, there's a place for you here. With options for absolute beginners through to seasoned athletes, including team entries, run/walk only, and multisport disciplines, every wahine is welcome. Gather your besties, workmates, or whānau, and we'll see you at the finish line!

Registration Details:
Event Date: Sunday 18 October 2026
Tshirt pre-orders Close: Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 8:00pm
Signup Closes: Thursday 15th October 2026 at 10:00 am
Those registering after 6th October will not have named bib numbers.
Registration & Late Entries Date: Saturday 17 October 2026 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Registration Location: Grandstand foyer (enter through the Hockey field side; look for the TriHB flags)
Event Schedule:
Group stretch: 8:15 am
Compulsory Race Briefing: 8:40 am
Event Start Time: 9:00 am (for all events)
Traffic Notice: When arriving on Saturday, please enter the Sports Park via Evenden Road to assist with traffic management.

Individual Events:
Short Tri: 100M Swim, 5 km Cycle (1 lap), 2.5 km Run (1 lap)
Middle Tri: 250M Swim, 15 km Cycle (3 laps), 5 km Run (2 laps of 2.5 km)
Long Tri: 500M Swim, 20 km Cycle (4 laps), 7.5 km Run (3 laps of 2.5 km)
Team Events:
Short Tri: 100M Swim, 5 km Cycle (1 lap), 2.5 km Run (1 lap)
Middle Tri: 250M Swim, 15 km Cycle (3 laps), 5 km Run (2 laps of 2.5 km)
Long Tri: 500M Swim, 20 km Cycle (4 laps), 7.5 km Run (3 laps of 2.5 km)
Multisport Events:
Aquabike: 250M Swim, 15 km Cycle (3 laps)
Aquathlon: 250M Swim, 5 km Run (2 laps of 2.5 km)
Duathlon: 5 km Run (2 laps of 2.5 km), 15 km Cycle (3 laps), 2.5 km Run (1 lap)
Run/Walk Events:
Short: 2.5 km (1 lap)
Middle: 5 km (2 laps of 2.5 km)
Long: 7.5 km (3 laps of 2.5 km
Longer 10km (4 laps of 2.5km)

Amanda Meynell Memorial Trophy: Overall winner across all age groups for the Long Tri (Team)
Youth Trophy: Overall winner across the under 20 age groups for the Long Tri (Individual)
Harcourts Hawke's Bay Emergency Services Trophy: Overall winner across all age groups for a team representing the Emergency Services in the Long Tri (Team) - Please indicate your affiliation at sign up.
All entry fees go directly to supporting the operating costs of the Heretaunga Women’s Centre, making a real difference for women in Hawkes Bay while you take on your challenge.
