Keirunga Park Railway - Easter Open Weekend!
Looking for a fantastic family outing this, Easter? Look no further than our Easter Open Weekend! Join us for four days of train rides as we welcome visiting drivers and locomotives to our event.
Bring the whole family along to experience the joy of riding the trains, exploring the playground, strolling the trails, and sharing a picnic with family and friends.
Once you've boarded the train, prepare to be whisked away through the picturesque Keirunga Gardens. You'll journey through three tunnels, cross over bridges, travel alongside scenic rock formations, and play “I Spy a Teddy Bear" along the way. It's an adventure that promises enjoyment for the whole family!
See our volunteer member on the station bridge to purchase your train ride tickets where EFTPOS and cash are accepted.
We do ask that you kindly follow our Train Ride Safety Rules, which can be found on the back of our 12-ride ticket, on the station wall, and on our website www.keirungaparkrailway.org.nz.
Please note that our Easter Weekend activities may be affected by weather conditions (rain). Any updates or cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page. Be sure to follow us at https://www.facebook.com/keirungaparkrail/ for the latest information.
