B&I Film Festival: Hill

One name. Two champions. BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Alex Holmes delivers the definitive portrait of how Damon Hill overcame the loss of his legendary father, Graham Hill, and followed in his footsteps to become a Formula 1 world champion himself.

Featuring exclusive interviews with Damon and his family, Hill is a gripping documentary that charts the racing legend’s journey through tragedy, pressure, and some of the most iconic moments in F1 history.

Discover the inside story of how Damon fought a furious battle with Michael Schumacher, and dealt with the death of his teammate Ayrton Senna, who tragically lost his life at 34.

Hill places an insightful focus on who Damon is as a person - his hopes, joys, insecurities, and heartbreak. This engaging approach creates an emotional narrative that captures the attention of both F1 devotees and the uninitiated alike.

With a seamless blend of high-octane Formula 1 footage and intimate home-movie moments, Hill is pacy, polished, and unmissable.
