There’s nothing that lifts the spirits each year like the first time we hear the morning birdsong of spring and early summer. Conducted by Jane Perard, Cantare's programme for this concert is full of the wild and blessed beauty that is so intoxicating at this time of year. As always we’re singing a very diverse range of songs, with some gorgeous lush ‘a cappella’ arrangements of jazz standards, along with several moving sacred pieces, both contemporary and older; a surprising Renaissance spoof and of course there are several different languages involved! We’ll be joined by a guest performer or two as well! We’d love you to join us as we usher in the summer with song!
