K-Pop Live is the ultimate high-energy concert experience, delivering a vibrant celebration of music, dance, and performance. Bursting with dazzling costumes, dynamic choreography, and all the biggest K-Pop hits, this fun-filled 1-hour show will have audiences singing, dancing, and smiling from start to finish. Enjoy crowd favourites from GANGNAM STYLE to addictive earworms like GOLDEN and SODA POP, alongside iconic tracks from Blackpink, BTS, Stray Kids, and more.
The show is directed and choreographed by Rina Chae, the renowned Korean–New Zealand dancer, choreographer, and K-pop industry professional, celebrated as “NZ’s Queen of K-Pop” (NZ Herald) for her pivotal role in introducing and establishing K-pop dance culture in Aotearoa. Her international career spans the USA, South Korea, the UK, Australia, and beyond.
Rina has performed with global icons including Beyoncé and Justin Bieber, choreographed for artists across Australia, the UK, and New Zealand, and is widely recognized for her influential and undeniable contributions within the K-pop industry. The public may also recognize Rina as the host of the four-season television series K-Pop Academy NZ, a New Zealand–produced K-pop music and dance reality show.
The lineup features live vocals from a K-Pop Apprentice, along with live rapping and dancers. K-POP Live is produced by Showcase Entertainment Group producers of Shrek, Madagascar and The Cat in the Hat.
