Skykid: Footnotes Tour 2026

The silence is broken, Skykid's exiting the studio and heading for the stage.

After completing recovery from injuries sustained in a car crash in 2024, SKYKID returns to the stage thanks to innovative treatment and gets back to business doing what he loves in a short run of live dates in New Zealand's North Island in April 2026.

These shows will see Skykid (real name James Brodie) perform solo and acoustic as he tells stories about his recovery journey and plays stripped-down versions of songs from his 2024 album HEART alongside new material from his upcoming album Footnotes (out April 2026) using only his voice and acoustic guitar to deliver a unique experience, highlighting Skykid's storytelling and music in an intimate way not seen before in James's career.

With more shows on the horizon and lots of lost time to make up for, Skykid is roaring to get out and see his friends again as a new season of life begins from the shadows of the past.

Skykid Tour Dates:
Auckland: April 15, Ding Dong Lounge
Rotorua: April 22, Shambles Theatre (w/ Elysia Om)
Napier: April 30, The Cabana (w/ Christina Gunson)
