Sanctuary Sounds is a not-for-profit music festival showcasing an eclectic mix of music from all over New Zealand and abroad. The 3 day festival is a true grassroots experience, held on a rural property in Takapau, Central Hawkes Bay, where you will find yourself immersed in music, art, food and friendship!

Kids 13 and under are FREE

Join us as we celebrate two decades of music, art, and community — from our humble beginnings on College Road to the three-day festival experience at Takapau today.

Revisit the worlds we’ve created along the way — from Under the Sea to Enchanted Forests, Down the Rabbit Hole and Stuck in the Machine to Up for a Revolution, Under the Big Top, In to Jungles, Galactic Highways, and beyond.
