Wairoa’s Waitangi Day celebrations will go ahead operating under the Government’s COVID-19 Red Traffic Light guidelines.
The market day celebrations will take place this Saturday, February 5, from 10am-2pm at the Wairoa Community Centre.
Commemorations will include activities, music, kai, giveaways and a Wairoa display.
Under the Government’s COVID-19 Red Traffic Light requirements, the event will be limited to 100 people at each of the activity areas, one metre distancing inside the Community Centre building and vaccination pass entry only.
Organisers are looking forward to a fun filled day and encourage people to join in the activities and stay safe by following the requirements.
