Shop and win

Danika

It was another successful week for the Wairoa District Council Tautoko Wairoa Buy Local Campaign with more than 400 entries received.

The most recent winner was Wairoa woman Melanie Thompson who was rewarded for shopping at Bradbury Jewellers.

The promotion is part of Wairoa’s COVID-19 recovery encouraging people to shop and buy locally.

Every time you spend $30 or more at any participating local businesses, your name goes into the draw to win a $100 shop credit to spend at the participating business of their choice.

Last week’s entries represented more than $12000 spent by locals at participating businesses.

Keep it up Wairoa, let’s shop and buy local and support local businesses.

Draws are held every week and there is no limit on the number of times you can enter.

Last week’s winner was drawn by Wairoa District Councillor Danika Goldsack (pictured).

The post-pandemic retail booster runs until the end of August.
