The Waterdrive Bridge on Erepeti Road has been reduced to light vehicles only and a speed restriction of 10km following damage to the bridge.
Bridge repairs require a specific timber, which, due to delivery delays, means it is unlikely the bridge will be repaired before the Christmas/New Year holiday break. Repairs will be carried out as soon as the materials are available
Drivers are asked to please take care when crossing the bridge. Thank you for your patience and compliance while we wait for this repair work to be carried out.
