The New Zealand Youth Jazz Orchestra

The New Zealand Youth Jazz Orchestra - featuring Special Guest Adam Schroeder from USA.

Co-directed by Rodger Fox and Dave Lisik, the New Zealand Youth Jazz Orchestra is an auditioned ensemble of 20 of New Zealand's best young jazz musicians. The band assembles in Wellington for 11 days each year to rehearse and tour the country, always performing with a world-class international guest soloist. Recent guest artists with the NZYJO have included Alex Sipiagin, Dick Oatts, Scott Wendholt, John Fedchock, Luis Bonilla, and Clay Jenkins.

The 2019 guest artist is Los Angeles-based saxophonist, Adam Schroeder who performs with Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, Clayton - Hamilton Big Band and MONK'estra.

Cash bar and meals available.
All welcome.
