All interested people are encouraged to attend to ensure they are up-to-date with the requirements for all food businesses.

The workshop will be held at the Wairoa War Memorial Hall in Queen Street, Wairoa, on February 13, 2018 at 2pm.

As you may be aware, the Ministry for Primary Industry has set time lines for the adoption of risk-based plans by various categories of food businesses.

If you have not already adopted a food plan/programme, you may need to do that before the end of June 2018. Your application needs to be submitted before the end of March 2018.

For more information, you can go to the Ministry for Primary Industry (MPI) website, or you can contact the Wairoa District Council on 06 838 7309 and speak to the environmental health officer.
