ANZAC services

Anzac Day 2021

Wairoa will remember those who have gone before us with a series of ANZAC Day services on Sunday, April 25.

A Dawn Service will be held at Kaiuku Marae, Mahia on the Mahia East Coast Road at 5.30am.

In town 9.30am services will be held at Taihoa Marae on State Highway 2 and at Frasertown in Carroll Street.

The Wairoa Civic Service will be held at the Wairoa War Memorial and hall and 11am.

Wairoa Mayor Craig Little said Wairoa people have always shown tremendous respect for remembering and honouring those who have served.

“I know people from our district will again be out and about paying tribute to those who have gone before us.”
