Wairoa District Council advises that the next stage of the Blacks Beach Project – directional drilling – is scheduled to begin from Monday 29 September 7pm through to 6am.
To minimise daytime disruption, this work will be carried out at night under stop-go traffic management, with potential traffic holds of up to two hours at a time.
The works are expected to take up to four nights in total.
Motorists are asked to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel.
Updates will be provided on the Council website, Facebook page, and via electronic message boards on Nuhaka Opoutama Road.
