1. Countdown Supermarket on the North Clyde side of town. 2. Develop North Clyde side of town. 3. Utilise Write Price building to highlight the HISTORY of Wairoa with maybe BEFORE and AFTER photos - not those tourism pictures as depicted in a story placed in the Wairoa Star a couple of weeks ago - it didn't showcase Wairoa's Maori History or Community!! As someone who visits often and is looking to move back to Wairoa along with my family I would like to see a better recycling system. A large wheely bin where you can put ALL recyclables, unsorted. I know a few people don't recycle in Wairoa because of the hassle of having to sort it yourself and also the very small bin doesn't always hold all your recycling.

Under its Trust Deed all people 'connected to the Eastland Electricity Network' are beneficiaries of the Trust. It is worth $400m. Wairoa has never had a bean after its own network was transferred to Eastland. More than 30% of every power bill in Wairoa, including Council's, is for ECT's coffers via the Network Company. Time those Trustees were asked the question, what about us? View Link
