Public Notice of Application for Resource Consent under Section 93(2) of the Resource Management Act 1991
Wairoa District Council has received the following application for resource consent:

Application:

To subdivide Lots 1 – 3 and Lot 9 DP 412245 to create 48 residential lots (nominal 1,000m2 area), one undeveloped farm lot, one lifestyle lot, three balance lots, two lots to vest as road, two access lots and one lot for the purpose of establishing a campground

To establish a one hectare campground to accommodate up to 400 people

To undertake earthworks associated with the development of the site amounting to approximately 25,000m3 cut to fill

To establish two wind turbines, each approximately 20m high
The application includes an Assessment of Environmental Effects.
The application may be inspected at the offices of the Wairoa District Council, Queen Street, Wairoa. It may also be viewed at the Wairoa Public Library, Marine Parade, Wairoa or downloaded below.
Any person may make a submission on the application by sending a written submission in the prescribed form (Form 13) to the District Planner, Wairoa District Council, PO Box 54, Wairoa 4160. Submissions can also be hand delivered to the council offices or emailed to the District Planner at lindac@wairoadc.govt.nz. Copies of the submission form can be obtained from the Wairoa District Council offices or can be downloaded from the Council website.

Submissions close and must be received by Wednesday 11th January 2012 at 5pm.
